Course Description:
Presentation will discuss current youth drug trends in our community. As well as what you can do to prevent and spot underage substance use.
Course Objectives:
- Learn current drug trends
- Identify ways to prevent substance misuse
- Understand why kids use drugs/alcohol
- How to spot drug/alcohol use
- What to do if you spot drug/alcohol use
CEU Credits
- 1 Social Workers credits: These event hours meet the MDCH training requirement for MI-CEC staff.
- 1 Child Mental Health Professionals credits: These event hours meet the MDCH training requirement for CMPH staff.
- 1 Michigan Certified Board of Addicition Professionals credits: These event hours meet the MDCH training requirement for MCBAP staff.
- 1 Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals credits: These event hours meet the MDCH training requirement for QIDP staff.
- 1 Training hour credits: this event will count toward the annual training hours required by most provider agencies.
