Course Description:

Identify assessment data needed when developing intervention Compare strategies to choose the best one based on your data Select alternative responses to replace problem behavior using assessment data. 

Course Objectives:

Identify potential interventions based on assessment results and the best available scientific evidence Selecting strategies based on: Function of behavior Client current repertoires Client preferences Supporting environments Social validity Select acceptable alternative behavior to increase or decrease to target aberrant behavior.

11:30-11:40: Identify assessment data needed when developing intervention

11:40-12:05: Compare strategies to choose the best one based on your data

12:05-12:30: Select alternative responses to replace problem behavior using assessment data
