Course Description:

This is a four-part learning series that will address issues that face supervisors and middle managers. It will provide support and ideas for best practices in working with employees and managing stress.

Course Objectives:

Supervisors/ Managers will increase their understanding of secondary trauma, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue - Supervisors/ Managers will identify risk factors that may affect them - Supervisors/ Managers will practice reflecting on strategies to combat secondary trauma

-SOCIAL WORK(MI-CEC): These event hours meet the MDCH training requirement for MI-CEC staff = 2 Hours

-CERTIFIED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL(CMHP): These event hours meet the MDCH training requirement for CMHP staff = 2 Hours
