Course Description:

This session will delve into identifying specific training practices and their effectiveness, discussing the difference between supervision and peer support, and exploring the value of each in the professional setting.

We will also cover strategies for leveraging peer support and supervision to reduce burnout and vicarious trauma in mental health professionals. 

 

Timed Agenda:

 
-9:00am-9:30am Define specific training practices and their effectiveness.

-9:30am-10:00am- Discussing the different between supervision and peer support, exploring the value of each in the professional setting.

-10:00am-11:00am Explore strategies for leveraging peer support and supervision to reduce burnout and vicarious trauma in mental health
