Event Description/Learning Objectives:  This program is aimed at providers who are for HIV-positive persons. Participants will: 1. Learn current therapies for the treatment of HIV disease and common co-occurring conditions, including strategies and potential complications. 2. Examine pathogenesis and immunopathogenesis in order to better understand their effect on the management of HIV disease. 3. Learn emerging treatment options for HIV disease and its common co-occurring conditions, and future directions for research. 4. Gain insight about effective treatment protocols and ways to incorporate these strategies into practice.
