Course Description: 
The presentation will outline Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) and what makes it unique to other therapies provided in the mental health field. A review of other recommended treatments for Autism and why Board-Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA) discourage therapies that others recommend. 

Course Objective:
1. Describe the most recommended treatment option for Autism treatment
2. Describe key components of what makes ABA a unique therapy
3. Recognize and identify what other treatments are available for Autism
4. Recognize and identify unethical treatment options for Autism

Timed Agenda:

9:30: Introduction, objectives, break out of what is ABA

9:30-10:00: Explore what ABA is and what makes it unique

10:00-10:30: Wrap up example of unique case scenario and transition into break out room of other treatments for Autism

10:30-11:00: 10 minute bathroom break and Share other treatments for Autism.

11:00-11:30: Summarize best practice treatments for Autism and discuss unethical treatment options in practice

11:30-12: Finalize how to check if a therapy is safe using a resource
