Course Description:
Staff retention is one of the most challenging issues to overcome, especially with barriers precipitated by the pandemic.  Consistency of care is a crucial aspect of quality and ethical  ABA services.   Continuity of Analysts and technicians translates into reliable service delivery across clients. Maintaining quality staff leads to positive client outcomes, increased skill acquisition rates, and sharper decreases in maladaptive behaviors. Together, it is our job as leaders and clinicians in the field to ensure that staff is adequately trained, ethically supervised, fully supported, and kept safe and confident in the workplace.  We will discuss various aspects of key staff retention practices to utilize in the field, how to train and communicate with staff, and how to identify and prevent staff burnout.  

Course Objectives:
1. Participants will identify key aspects to accruing quality and trainable staff.
2. Participants will learn how to effectively train staff.
3. participants will learn effective communication with staff
4. Participants will learn how to identify staff burnhout, and how to avoid it
